Education Department
Education Committee
The Education Committee is responsible for all educational content for the Chapter. Committee members produce and manage all the cutting-edge programs, including procuring guest speakers, topics, and coordinating all the program logistics and activities designed for the benefit of our memberships continuing education.
Membership Department
Membercare Committee
The Membercare Committee is responsible for member services and member retention. Responsibilities include monthly contact with new and long-term members via phone or email to discuss help members maximize their membership. Committee communicates any issues/concerns to the leadership of the New Jersey Chapter and interfaces with MPI supporting any new initiatives and goals.
Recruitment Committee
The Recruitment Committee is responsible for recruiting and setting new members up for success. Responsibilities include monthly contact via phone or email with potential members as well as working with new members to welcome them to MPI New Jersey. Committee is also responsible for planning several Meet-Up/ Networking events where they produce and manage these events including procuring venue, entertainment, and coordinate all event logistics. Committee communicates any issues/concerns to the leadership of the New Jersey Chapter and interfaces with MPI supporting any new initiatives and goals.
Awards/Scholarship Committee
The Awards Committee supports MPI New Jersey Leadership by assessing and keeping current the NJ Chapter’s awards and scholarship program by making recommendations and revisions to the awards program and reviewing annual award applications.
CMP/CMM Recognition Event Committee
The CMP/CMM Recognition Event Committee is responsible for producing our Annual CMP/CMM Recognition Event. Committee members produce and manage this event, including procuring venue, guest speaker, topic, inviting targeted audience and coordinating all the event logistics designed for the benefit of connecting the CMP/CMM community and continuing education.
Communications Department
Internal Communications
The Internal Communications Committee is responsible for all communications distributed to the chapter membership. These communications include the monthly newsletter, monthly events email, OnSite Online Blog, Member Spotlight and any necessary membership related emails. Committee members are responsible for assisting with content and have input into the layout and editing of both publications.
Website Committee
The Website Committee overlooks the care and maintenance of the MPI New Jersey website. Responsibilities include creating and editing pages, creating new and updating old content, and keeping the website topical and up to date to the needs of the MPI New Jersey membership.
Social Media Committee
The Social Media Committee is responsible for all social media content on Chapter Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter and Instagram accounts. Committee members are responsible for assisting with content and scheduling posts on Hootsuite.
Special Events Department
Special Events Committee
The Special Events Committee focuses on creating and coordinating any Special Events. Duties include site selection and logistics planning to include food & beverage, entertainment, and collateral in conjunction with Strategic Partnership.
Golf Committee
The Golf Committee is responsible for the execution and coordination of a the Chapter’s Annual Signature Golf Event in June. The Annual Golf Event that is the Chapter’s largest fund raiser and responsibilities include soliciting sponsors, tracking registrations, assembling program book content, logistics planning, raffle ticket sales, and on-site assistance the night before and day of the event.
Leadership Department
Governance & Nominations Committee
The Governance & Nominations Committee is responsible for working with MPI New Jersey Leadership to identify and nominate future Chapter Leaders as well as keep membership updated on the nominations process. The Nominations Committee is included in reviewing applications, interviewing candidates and putting together the Board Slate to be presented to the Board of Directors. Another important role of the committee is to review the Chapter Bylaws and Policy Manuel to make suggested updates to the Board of Directors.
Community Outreach Committee
The Community Outreach Committee is responsible for finding ways to promote good-will and enhance public awareness of MPI Values through participation in humanitarian activities that reflect our diverse membership. The Committee provides an opportunity for our members to volunteer their time, skills and creativity in the planning and delivery of events, entertainment or services to charitable organizations and worthy causes. Some responsibilities may include identifying charitable organizations, fundraising, securing sponsors and on-site event assistance.
